Dave Webster relishes being able to eat anything he wants, take long hikes and live life free from debilitating inflammatory bowel disease. Inspired by his care at UCI Health, he returned to school to become a nurse and today the 47-year-old volunteers as a “GI buddy” helping fellow IBD patients.
